For more than four decades, Peter served the New South Wales government education sector with excellence and dedication. He worked closely with several Directors General at the Department of Technical and Further Education (TAFE), providing them with valuable assistance and support. He also held senior roles in the New South Wales Department of Education, where he demonstrated his leadership and expertise. His outstanding work was honoured by the Public Service Medal in the 2010 Queens Birthday Honours List, a prestigious recognition of his merit and service.
In addition to his professional career, Peter has been actively involved in various community and social justice initiatives. He is a trustee for the RSL Teachers Sub-Branch NSW, past secretary for the Macarthur Social Justice Network, a member of the St Luke Revesby Parish Pastoral Council, and a member of the MSC Mission Office Australia. Through these roles, he has shown his commitment and passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
